Maltese are one of the smallest of the toy breeds, great for apartments or condo living. Maltese are considered to be hypoallergenic. They are vigorous, gentle, fearless and sometimes called sprightly. They love to be with people, the ultimate lap dog. Maltese are a small toy size dog, full grown 4-7 pounds.
